Markets:

U.S. stock futures fell slightly on Thursday after the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped to a fresh 2026 low in the previous session as inflation fears took hold on Wall Street.

Brent crude futures, the international benchmark, surged 5% to $113 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude futures
 were up 1% at $97 a barrel.

The spike in international oil follows Iran striking a key liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Qatar as well as an attack on Iran’s South Pars gas field by Israel. Iran then retaliated by hitting Qatari energy facilities.

President Donald Trump warned that if more facilities in Qatar were attacked, the U.S. would “massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field.”

Wall Street is coming off a dismal trading session. On Wednesday, the 30-stock Dow tumbled some 768 points, or 1.6%, to a new closing low for the year. The benchmark, which also touched an intraday low for 2026, even closed below its 200-day moving average, a technical level suggesting the long-term trend for the index is now negative.

Portfolio:

We’re coming into today holding SPSC, TALK, and SERV. We've purposely been trying to be super patient in adding new trades.  Feel we are getting close to the runway and want max cash on hand to deploy.  Today is a big test.  Please read on…

Game Plan:

QQQ is flirting with the 200-day moving average this morning.

Don’t get baited early—this setup has a history. We’ve seen plenty of flushes below a major level in premarket that turn into strong, high-volume reversal days.

Key Levels:

Resistance: 597–598

Support: 200 DMA, 590

Major Level: 589 (last week’s low)

If we get a clean sweep below last week’s lows, that’s where things get interesting. I’ll be looking for potential long setups into next week off that type of move.

Names on Watch:

TSLA near 380

COIN

NVDA around 178

AMD near 190

These are all sitting near key technical levels, especially the 200-day. Historically, they tend to react well here—so stay alert.

Today’s Theme:

It’s simple:

SPY 200 DMA
QQQ 200 DMA

That’s it.

Everything comes down to how we react around these levels—and more importantly, how we close.

Lets see how we react / close and then you have an attack plan.

Be ready.
