Stocks climbed in Tuesday’s session as investors seemed to shrug off worries about the U.S. attack on Venezuela over the weekend. The blue-chip Dow jumped nearly 485 points, or 0.99%, to close above 49,000 for the first time. The S&P 500 also posted a record close after gaining about 0.6%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite ended the day higher by roughly 0.7%.

Shares of Ventyx Biosciences popped more than 60% in extended trading on a report that Eli Lilly could be nearing an agreement to buy the clinical-stage company for more than $1 billion. The Wall Street Journal, citing unnamed people familar the matter, said a deal was imminent.

Nvidia chief executive officer Jensen Huang said Tuesday that the company is seeing “very high” customer demand in China for its H200 AI chips, which the U.S. government recently signaled that it would approve for export.

Huang added that Nvidia has started producing the chips again and is working out the final details about export licenses with the U.S. government. Nvidia’s chips are critical for companies developing artificial intelligence models.

Portfolio:

Nice week thus far and we move onto today holding setups in SKYT, PATH, TE, and VNDA.

Technically, SPY last bear gap closed and all sights on bulls. Staying above previous ATH obviously will continue momentum, but expecting some retest of 690 before lift off.

Watching flow and price action closely this morning.  Positioned well and no need to force any trades today.  Watching for theme plays and sectors.  This is where the money can be made quickly.  Love this time of year.
