Markets:

Stock futures resumed trading on Friday following a “cooling issue” at a data center that caused a disruption in assets traded at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up 56 points, or 0.1%, when trading stopped. S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq-100 futures traded 0.2% higher and 0.4%, respectively.

The disruption could cause even more volatility, as Wall Street comes back from the Thanksgiving holiday for a shortened trading session on Friday. Trading volumes the day after Thanksgiving are historically well below average, meaning moves — to the upside and the downside — could be more extreme. Services were gradually being restored in U.S. markets as of 8 a.m. ET following a cooling issue at one of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange’s data centers. Bonds and metals resumed trading after a pause, according to FactSet data, and individual stocks were still trading the premarket.

Friday also marks the last trading day of November. A pullback in tech stocks have weighed on the major averages this month, as doubt swirled around the future profitability of AI companies.

Yet some investors are hopeful that this month’s slide will mean a year-end rally is in store for the major averages, as they step into buy stocks that have been unduly punished at more attractive valuations.

Portfolio:

We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving. We understand many of you are taking a long weekend and will return fully recharged for Monday. Today’s session ends at 1 p.m., and volume is expected to be extremely light. This is a day to manage open positions—not to force new trades. Only take an A+ setup.

This week has breathed new life into several names and sectors, and we are genuinely excited about the runway ahead. December and January consistently deliver some of the best trading environments of the entire year. The transition from year-end positioning into new-year momentum is where opportunity accelerates—and we’ll be ready to attack it.

Our current holdings look strong with BMNR, RIVN, ONDS, and A.

The queue is active, but given today’s thin volume, we’ll only release something new if the setup is undeniable. Stay patient—and be ready for Monday. Cannot emphasize that enough.
