Markets:
S&P 500 futures climbed on Thursday after the major averages posted back-to-back winning sessions, as investors weighed the latest batch of corporate earnings.
Investors seemed to shake off worries around tariffs, which began on Monday after President Donald Trump announced a 10% levy on Chinese imports over the weekend. Sentiment improved after the president paused duties on Mexican and Canadian goods.
European stock markets were broadly higher in early deals Thursday, with the Stoxx 600 index climbing 0.68% as sentiment continues to rebuild following the tariff-sparked sell-off on Monday.
The U.K.’s FTSE 100 was up 1% at 8:45 a.m. in London, while the British pound dropped 0.45% against the U.S. dollar, as traders gear up for an interest rate announcement and forecasts from the Bank of England.
Portfolio:
AMZN – the heavyweight we've been waiting for – releases tonight after the close. Really excited to see what they have to say and the outlook they produce. Think about where the markets were on Monday morning with all the "fear" of Tariffs and where we are today. People actually sold into that rather than using that as an opportunity to add. This market is super resilient right now and continues to build. SPY breakout now in play along with the Q's. We would love to see the Q's get over 533 and SPY over 611.
If AMZN can play nicely and we receive a good or inline NFP report tomorrow I expect these levels to be taken out and we build our next level breakout. I won't even get into the names that have monster breakouts emerging right now and will ignite specific sectors. These names we will be hammering in the coming week as these breakouts confirm.
We enter todays session holding setups in TSLL, SOXL, ASAN, and S. TSLL stop adjusted to 21.00. We think 360 area will be bought up with force and drive TSLA for the coming weeks. Queue is igniting and will most likely be adding today so please be ready.
