Markets:

S&P 500 futures were little changed on Friday, a day after the index hit a record closing high following President Donald Trump’s call to lower interest rates and crude prices.

Stocks got a boost Thursday after Trump said he would “demand that interest rates drop immediately” as he addressed world leaders in Davos, Switzerland. The president also said he would ask Saudi Arabia and other OPEC nations to lower the price of oil. The S&P 500 closed at a record and notched a fresh all-time intraday high in the session.

Optimism toward Trump’s pro-business policies pushed risk assets higher this week after his inauguration. Investors were also relieved that there have only been threats on the tariff front from Trump — instead of formal action — during his first few days in the White House.

With just Friday’s session left in the holiday-shortened trading week, the three major indexes are on track to finish higher.

Crude oil, be it West Texas Intermediate or the global benchmark Brent, is on course for its largest weekly decline since November.

Portfolio:

Few still understand the breakaway runway being created and majority are still looking to call for tops.  The chase for performance soon will be epic!  Understand this.

We enter the last trading session of the week holding setups in RR, SMR, OKLO, HOOD, KODK, and AAPU.  Although it's Friday and we typically dislike to add new trades here, we have a monster week setting up and want to possibly position ourselves even further rather than waiting for Monday.

Next week we begin to receive monster reports we love to follow and that will be sure to be sector and market drivers!  A few examples of reports we will be following; SOFI, TSLA, IBM, AAPL, V, MSFT, META, NOW, LRCX, and TEAM.

FOMC on 28/29th.

Thursday 1/30 we receive GDP and Jobless Claims.

Friday 1/31 PCE.

Few highlights for next week and as you can see monster market drivers.

Cannot wait to trade this and exploit every monster opportunity.

Please be ready today, but especially Monday!
